Budget Proposed By County Charter, the County Executive submits the budget by November 10.
At the discretion of the County Executive, it may be submitted earlier.		  

Committee Meetings with County Depts. & Offices

Representatives of all County departments and offices make presentations to and take questions from the Budget & Appropriations Committee.
Public Participation

Public Input Sessions:

  • Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 6:00 PM

  • Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at 5:30 PM
    TBD, Peekskill

Public Hearing:

  • Wednesday, December 9, 2026 at 7 PM
    Board of Legislators Chambers, 148 Martine Avenue, 8th Fl., White Plains

Speaker Information:

  • Doors open 45 minutes before the session or hearing.
  • Numbered speaker cards will be distributed; only one speaker card will be given per person. Speakers are limited to three (3) minutes.
  • Written statements may be submitted in advance and will be included in the record.
Additions Approved Budget and Appropriations Committee provides additions.  
Final Report Approved Budget and Appropriations Committee provides deletions in final report.  

Budget Vote

The Board of Legislators meets to vote on the final budget, which must be adopted no later than December 28.
