Board Passes Bill Banning Sale of Deceptive Vaping Products 

Last night, the Westchester County Board of Legislators unanimously voted to pass a bill banning the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping products made to resemble everyday items such as school supplies, smartphone cases, toys, and drink containers. Introduced by County Executive Ken Jenkins, the measure targets deceptive products intended to attract young people while concealing nicotine use from parents and teachers.

Board Celebrates Caribbean American Heritage Month

The Westchester County Board of Legislators celebrated Caribbean American Heritage Month on Monday evening with a ceremony honoring Lyndon Williams, a distinguished jurist, Mount Vernon community leader, and Chairman of the Westchester County Charter Review Commission, and Ted Bitter, a veteran of the war in Vietnam, Peekskill business owner, and youth sports mentor.
