WestchesterLegislatorsNY.gov Launches Today

Starting today, April 20, the Westchester County Board of Legislators has officially moved its website from westchesterlegislators.com to WestchesterLegislatorsNY.gov. This domain transition reflects the Board’s ongoing efforts to strengthen transparency, security, and public confidence.

The previous web address will automatically redirect to the new site, ensuring a seamless experience for all online visitors.

Board Chairman Vedat Gashi (D–New Castle, Ossining, Somers, Yorktown) said, “The Board has been the voice of Westchester County residents for more than 300 years. This move ensures our digital presence meets the same high standards as our long record of public service. Our goal is simple: help people feel confident they are in the right place.”

A new federal mandate requires all government entities to operate under a .gov domain. This transition also bolsters the County’s cybersecurity and digital infrastructure in an increasingly complex online world. The .gov domain is restricted to verified government entities, giving residents confidence that they are accessing official, trustworthy information.

What Residents Need to Know
